📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and platform components that are part of the internal Core Platform and used by multiple Acronis products • Take ownership of services throughout their lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and long-term maintenance • Make architectural and technical decisions with a focus on scalability, reliability, backward compatibility, and operational stability • Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product management, and QA to define requirements and deliver platform capabilities • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established best practices and coding standards • Perform code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and security • Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective long-term solutions • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and engineering practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of professional software development experience in backend or platform engineering roles • Strong proficiency in Go; experience with Python/Rust is a plus • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems (including service-to-service communication, data consistency, and fault tolerance) • Experience building and operating backend services in cloud environments • Practical experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) • Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and modern development workflows • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in an international engineering environment • Experience in cybersecurity, data protection, or other high-reliability systems is an advantage • Experience using modern LLM instruments and AI development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, etc.) to accelerate development workflows while maintaining code quality and security.
