📋 Description
• Receive and verify documentation (Invoice, Packing List, HBL/AWB, etc.) in accordance with customs legislation; • Enter data into the system and assess the need for LI, LPCO, DUE and other pre-shipment requirements; • Prepare and file LI, LPCO, DI, Duimp, DUE and follow up on requirements until approval; • Authorize shipment/clearance, request documentary corrections and keep the client updated; • Request funds, calculate taxes/charges, pay fees and record expenses in the system; • Assemble case files and dossiers and monitor parameterization in Siscomex; • Coordinate release, scheduling with terminals and final loading; • Forward documentation to billing and support the information flow with the client.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or Technologist degree • Knowledge of customs clearance procedures • Knowledge of customs legislation • Knowledge of Incoterms • Familiarity with the Siscomex system • Advanced English (level 3)
