⢠Carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with O&M schedules and manufacturer recommendations ⢠Perform inspections, testing and maintenance of solar PV systems, including modules, inverters, switchgear, combiner boxes, monitoring systems and associated electrical equipment across rooftop and ground-mounted installations ⢠Diagnose and rectify electrical, communications and monitoring faults to minimise downtime and maximise system performance ⢠Respond to reactive maintenance callouts and breakdowns as required ⢠Complete AC & DC electrical testing where applicable, including insulation resistance testing, thermal imaging and system performance checks ⢠Monitor system performance and investigate alarms or underperforming assets ⢠Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records and fault logs using digital reporting systems ⢠Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) standards, Safe Electric requirements, RAMS and site procedures ⢠Liaise with the O&M Manager, operations team and equipment manufacturers to resolve technical issues ⢠Support commissioning activities, warranty claims, asset inspections and site surveys where required ⢠Manage site housekeeping, spare parts and customer communication while maintaining a professional standard at all times
⢠Qualified Electrician (National Craft Certificate or equivalent) ⢠Minimum three years' experience in electrical installation, maintenance or renewable energy ⢠Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills ⢠Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems ⢠Full clean driving licence ⢠Willingness to travel throughout Ireland and work away from home when required ⢠Strong organisational, IT and communication skills ⢠Ability to work independently and safely ⢠Solar PV installation and maintenance experience (Desirable) ⢠Experience with SCADA, fibre networks and monitoring platforms (Desirable) ⢠Knowledge of Huawei, Sungrow or SMA inverter systems (Desirable) ⢠Working at Height, Manual Handling, and First Aid certification, Safe Pass (Desirable) ⢠Thermal imaging experience (Desirable) ⢠Experience with utility-scale solar assets, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or EV charging infrastructure (Desirable)
