📋 Description

• Own customer and business outcomes end-to-end across deployed projects, initiatives, and pods • Frame problems, design solutions, ship products, and own resulting metrics • Descope work to the cheapest viable version and prototype quickly • Stay close to customers by shadowing sales and support and joining advisory conversations • Propose what to build, defer, or stop • Own domain interfaces, reliability, performance, security, on-call responsibilities, consent, and PII handling • Share patterns, tooling, and context across the organization • Build and scale React product interfaces, Node.js and Python services, APIs, cloud batch platforms, and data pipelines • Build AI-assisted workflows and identify product opportunities enabled by AI • Mentor engineers on judgment and product sense • Write decision memos and ADRs and enable Product and Design to self-serve • Embed with teams as a player-coach Tech Lead, owning technical direction while partnering with the Engineering Manager • Report to an Engineering Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of shipping something end-to-end and owning the outcome • Product judgment, including descoping, proposing experiments, and collaborating with Product • Comfort embedding with unfamiliar teams and codebases • Deep expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern CSS • Experience with Node.js and Python services, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous data handling • AWS core services: Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway • Cloud batch/workflow orchestration such as Step Functions or Airflow • Experience delivering multi-tenant batch products and data solutions at scale • Strong UI/UX and accessibility skills • Systems design judgment and security mindset for sensitive consumer data and compliance • Fluency building AI-assisted workflows and critically reviewing AI output • Daily use of AI-native tools such as Cursor and Claude Code • Precise prompting across OpenAI and Claude models • Clear written and verbal communication • Mentorship experience • Willingness/ability to travel 5-10% • Legal authorization to work in Romania
