ActiveTEP is a digital health companion (app and companion workbook) that supports patients undergoing hip or knee joint replacement (TEP) through the full perioperative pathway: 12 weeks before to 12 weeks after surgery. It provides evidence-based, orthopaedist-reviewed educational modules, exercise and rehabilitation videos in multiple difficulty levels, daily diaries and reminders, checklists and motivation features, and is available both as a Class I medical device app and as a printed workbook. Developed with orthopaedists, physiotherapists and patients and offered to both patients and clinicians/clinics (including options for white-labeling and insurer access), ActiveTEP is produced by DORA Digitale Orthopädie Anwendungen GmbH in Leipzig and is funded in part by EU and German public programs.
