📋 Description

• Support System Integrators and End-User customers with adoption of building automation technology • Serve as the product subject matter expert for the Sales Team • Engage in various sales support activities and manage a schedule of commitments • Assist with development and presentation of technology-focused sessions, webinars, and lunch-and-learns • Support new customer onboardings • Assist with product demonstrations and lead generation at industry trade shows • Provide product feature demonstrations and supplemental product training • Support projects adopting new technology for the first time • Collaborate with engineering and product teams on product capabilities, advancements, and limitations • Assist with project tenders alongside regional sales managers and system integrator partners

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional knowledge and understanding of the Tridium Niagara Framework • Ability to take a station from scratch with no templates to a complete automation system • Solid fundamental understanding of HVAC systems • Ability to think logically and write programs for HVAC control • Ability to explain complex topics in layman’s terms • Fundamental understanding of BACnet, Modbus, and Lonworks protocols • Fundamental understanding of MSTP and IP networking • Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders • Effective time management skills and ability to assess task urgency and importance • Experience with IoT integrations and APIs (preferred) • Ability to write code in Python, Java, or C++ (preferred) • Advanced understanding of IP networking (preferred) • Experience with Linux and/or Docker/Containers (preferred) • Tertiary education, either a degree or vocational, is preferred but not required
