📋 Description

• Work directly with the Office of the CFO and Finance organization on AI and automation initiatives • Interview and shadow employees to understand recurring processes and workflows • Document process steps, systems, data, handoffs, and manual activities • Identify repetitive work, bottlenecks, duplicate effort, and unnecessary complexity • Quantify time and effort required for activities • Identify work that can be eliminated, simplified, automated, or improved with AI • Research approaches used by other companies and emerging technologies • Prioritize opportunities with Finance leadership • Explore AI, automation, and agentic technology solutions • Build lightweight prototypes and proofs of concept • Translate workflow findings into requirements for external partners • Collaborate with internal and external partners during solution development • Test prototypes against real-world scenarios and identify edge cases and unreliable outputs • Gather user feedback and measure improvements in manual effort, time, and process quality • Document results and recommended next steps

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree • Strong intellectual curiosity and analytical problem-solving skills • Comfortable experimenting with AI tools • Interest in emerging technologies and their impact on work • Comfortable asking questions and working through ambiguity • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-motivated and organized; able to work independently with guidance • Ability to commit approximately 15–20 hours per week during Fall 2026 • Experience with Python, APIs, LLMs, AI agents, automation platforms, data analysis, or software development is helpful but not required • Prior finance or accounting experience is not required
