📋 Description

• Lead Adelaide's engineering function, setting technical direction • Own the engineering strategy and day-to-day delivery • Partner closely with Product, Data Science, and executive teams • Manage and mentor engineering managers • Ensure systems meet the reliability and quality standards • Drive prioritization tradeoffs across engineering teams • Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience • Proven ability to take initiatives from architecture through to production • Experience architecting and operating scalable systems, services, and data infrastructure • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proven track record of recruiting and retaining senior engineering talent • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters or PhD preferred.
