📋 Description

• Responsible for the solar PV electrical engineering design work on assigned projects • Working with Project Engineers and Project Managers on developing design schedules and budgets for electrical engineering work activities • Supporting company business development activities as it relates to renewable energy projects • Monitoring project progress to ensure quality, on-time and on-budget delivery of projects • Solar PV system design including array layouts, DC string sizing, equipment layouts, and utility interconnections • Developing solar construction and equipment specifications • Engineering calculations (NEC maximum system voltage, conductor sizing, etc.) • Support drawing production - Solar PV system One line and three-line diagrams • Participating in and presenting engineering work at client meetings

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering • 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency • Experience must include electrical design of commercial and utility-scale solar PV and BESS systems • Eight (8) years of engineering experience preferred • PE license preferred • Highly Proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Microsoft Excel desired • Experience with other software in the industry such as NREL SAM, ForgeSolar, and Helioscope • Strong Familiarity with utility practices, industry codes and standards (NESC, IEEE, PIP etc.)
