📋 Description
• Independently executes and delivers GIS projects varying from basic to moderate to significant scopes and complexity. • Develop databases and various mapping outputs to support reports and other project deliverables. • Create, organize, manipulate, and retrieve GIS data for reporting, analysis, and presentation purposes. • Perform quality assurance of GIS data and associated graphic components. • Use concepts, practices, and procedures to extract and provide GIS data to clients. • Prepare and maintain internal and external project documentation, including quality control documentation. • Provide support to AECOM’s Military Munitions Response information dashboard. • Work directly with Level I/II/III/IV GIS Specialists and Project Managers.
🎯 Requirements
• High school diploma + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • U.S. Citizenship required • Successful candidate will have to pass a background check • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, or a related field preferred • 1+ years of GIS or other relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education preferred • Experience with ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal and/or other relevant ArcGIS software and an understanding of the ESRI suite of products preferred • AutoCAD experience preferred • Technical knowledge of geographic concepts, including coordinate systems, data collection methods, spatial data management, analysis, data visualization and cartographic design preferred
