📋 Description

• Lead tax advisory projects independently, responsible for technical analysis, strategy definition and delivery of work to clients. • Work on matters related to direct and indirect taxes, social security contributions and transfer pricing, preparing legal opinions, memoranda, studies and technical guidance. • Advise clients on complex tax inquiries, identifying risks, opportunities and alternatives to support decision-making. • Lead technical meetings and executive presentations, communicating conclusions and recommendations clearly and objectively. • Participate in projects related to the Tax Reform, including impact analysis, review of operations, risk mapping and support for implementing new rules. • Prepare responses to tax audits, notices and other administrative tax procedures. • Develop and review tax positions, opportunities for tax credit recovery and tax planning. • Review work prepared by junior lawyers and assistants, ensuring the technical quality of deliverables. • Produce articles, technical content, training materials and specialized publications, contributing to the department's technical positioning. • Monitor legislative, regulatory and case law changes, disseminating knowledge and proposing innovative solutions for clients and for the firm.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree (LL.B., J.D. or equivalent). • Minimum of 4 years' experience in tax advisory/consulting. • Solid knowledge of direct and indirect taxes and social security contributions. • Experience in tax consulting and preparation of legal opinions. • Knowledge of the Tax Reform and its impacts on companies. • Experience in administrative tax litigation. • Judicial tax litigation experience is desirable. • Knowledge of tax positions and opportunities for tax credit recovery. • Knowledge of tax reporting obligations, fiscal documents and tax routines. • Knowledge of accounting applied to taxation. • Excellent legal writing and analytical skills. • Intermediate to advanced Office suite skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
