• Your role will involve visiting aged care facilities to assess residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment tool. • This position will undertake AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care homes across the Grampians aged care planning region (ACPR) on behalf of the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. • These visits require travel within the Grampians ACPR with the potential for overnight stays for more remote facilities. • Comprehensive training and support will be provided (no prior knowledge of the AN-ACC assessment tool is required).
• 5+ years of experience as a RN, Physio or OT in the aged care sector • Current, general, unrestricted AHPRA registration • Valid driver's licence and reliable car • Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing environment or circumstances • Willingness to travel to regional/remote facilities • Able to work unsupervised within a diverse and widely located team • Meet all Department of Health, Disability and Ageing Vaccination requirements.
• Highly attractive salary – $111,489 salary p.a. + 12% super (FTE) • Part-time position (0.6 FTE/ 3 days per week) • Program hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm • Full training provided in the use and application of the new assessment tool • All technical equipment including laptop and phone • Reimbursement of travel expenses
