• Lead and inspire a team of managers and market associates to grow Airbnb’s housing supply in Canada by expanding partnerships with hosts of all types and delivering outstanding results for the business and travelers. • Work closely with the National Director to execute national strategic plans, ensuring alignment between local market execution and national business priorities. • Design and implement acquisition strategies to establish new high-quality listings on Airbnb by developing innovative programs, pilots, and local initiatives to reach underserved segments and markets. • Boldly experiment to unlock new sources of supply: measure results, iterate quickly, and turn proven strategies into playbooks that drive Airbnb’s growth in Canada and beyond. • Guide territory-level strategies for host acquisition, optimization, and quality by leading teams to adapt their approach based on market maturity and host segmentation. • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply, marketing, revenue operations, policy, and product leaders to launch initiatives that improve host performance and accelerate supply growth. • Monitor and take ownership of business performance, ensuring markets meet key performance indicators for revenue, supply, and quality while delivering sustainable results that support Airbnb’s broader objectives. • Identify market trends and opportunities, providing solutions to overcome barriers and capitalize on emerging demand or regulatory changes. • Coach and develop talent by creating a high-performing team culture where experimentation, ownership, and continuous growth are valued.
• 10+ years of experience in global operations, business development, or market management, with more than 3 years in a leadership role managing and developing teams. • Deep market expertise and a strong understanding of the Canadian travel and hospitality landscape, with experience in local growth and community engagement. • A bold, empathetic, action-oriented leader who moves quickly and has a proven ability to grow, coach, and empower high-performing teams. • Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking, using data and insights to uncover opportunities, shape portfolio strategies, and guide decisions across diverse and evolving markets. • Proven ability to influence product, policy, and cross-functional teams to unlock new revenue sources and improve host and market performance. • Comfortable using tools, dashboards, and analytics to assess performance, identify trends, and drive accountability. • A track record of delivering results through others, including effective performance management and developing new leaders. • Experience building a positive, motivated, and inclusive team culture rooted in collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement; a trusted leader who provides clear direction, constructive feedback, and hands-on business coaching to drive results and career growth. • Highly organized and able to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, turning strategy into action and results. • Prior experience growing supply and establishing partnerships with host groups and communities is a strong plus.
