This digital work revolution contains the opportunity to give hundreds of millions throughout the global south their financial independence. • It contains the opportunity to free people from their local constraints. • Giving people, their communities and countries control over their destiny.Incorporated in the United States and registered with FinCEN as an MSB (Money Service Business), we have presence in more than 190 countries. • About the Role: • We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about quality, clarity, and catching issues before they make it to production. • In this role, you'll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to extract clear acceptance criteria from specs, validate features against those criteria, and build robust automated tests that ensure confidence in our releases. • You'll be testing a modern React-based web application backed by a suite of Node.js services, exposed via both REST and GraphQL APIs. • What you’ll be responsible for: • - Analyze product specifications to derive comprehensive and testable acceptance criteria • - Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and edge cases • - Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end, integration, and regression tests • - Manually test complex or new features before automation coverage is established • - Monitor and improve test coverage and reliability over time • - Contribute to CI/CD processes by integrating tests into our deployment pipeline • - Raise the bar for quality through thoughtful bug reports, feedback, and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA or software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role • Proven experience testing modern web applications, ideally built with React • Strong understanding of backend services, APIs (REST and GraphQL), and common failure scenarios • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or similar) • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and test environments • Ability to read and understand frontend and backend code when debugging or writing tests • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset • Advanced / Fluent in English. • Nice to have: • Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams • Familiarity with contract testing (e.g., Pact) or mocking frameworks • Background in performance or security testing
