📋 Description

• Design and ship LLM-powered agents that understand member requests, reason over contracts, claims, and history, and take actions on members’ behalf • Build tools, retrieval, and context pipelines for AI agents • Enable interoperability between AI agents, including conversation handoffs, context sharing, and capability calls • Bring automated resolution to new channels, beginning with AI phone support and real-time voice conversations • Build datasets, automated evaluations, and quality monitoring • Measure and improve resolution rate, answer quality, and member satisfaction in production • Iterate on prompts, models, and architecture • Collaborate with care experts and product teams to identify topics AI can fully resolve • Influence product direction, mentor engineers, and lead technical initiatives • Build infrastructure, interfaces, and applications serving members, health professionals, and internal users

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building scalable software systems • Strong backend experience; Python is a plus • Hands-on experience building products with LLMs, including agents, tool calling, RAG, prompt engineering, and evaluation, ideally shipped to production • Ability to measure AI system quality and improve it • Interest in healthcare technology • Understanding that insurance relates to access to care • Curiosity and high potential • Must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain • Must be currently based in, or willing to relocate to, France, Spain, or Belgium • React, Python/Flask, and PostgreSQL are the engineering stack; familiarity is not required if willing to learn
