📋 Description

• Build infrastructure, interfaces, and applications for Alan’s members, health professionals, and employees • Develop Hopper, Alan’s internal agentic AI platform and unified productivity tool • Build product experiences for durable AI sessions across the web, Slack, Linear, and GitHub • Develop agent runtime and orchestration capabilities, including control plane, harness, model routing, long-running execution, recovery, and isolated sandboxes • Build secure connectors through an MCP Gateway managing identity, credentials, permissions, confirmations, sensitivity, and audit • Create reusable skills, automations, artifacts, dashboards, and hosted tools • Develop evaluations and trust-oriented product experiences exposing tests, screenshots, previews, queries, sources, and tool actions • Expand Hopper toward reliable AI-agent infrastructure, including managed agent pools, sandboxed environments, autonomous testing, and CI auto-fix • Own work end to end, from React interactions or API contracts through production reliability • Collaborate with product and other teams through strong product interaction and distributed ownership • Deploy daily using the engineering stack of Python/Flask, React, React Native, and PostgreSQL in a monorepo

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in full-stack software engineering roles • Experience building products, internal platforms, frameworks, or infrastructure used by other people • Depth in at least one relevant area: AI agents and evaluations, developer platforms, high-quality product UX, distributed systems and runtimes, or security and authorization • Ability to own work end to end, from a React interaction or API contract to reliability in production • Experience with LLM APIs, agent harnesses, MCP, or AI-assisted coding tools is a strong plus • Product and platform experience, treating Alaners across engineering, product, data, sales, and operations as customers • Ability to understand and verify what an AI system did • Ability to make tradeoffs between speed, reliability, cost, security, and user experience • Ability to simplify complexity with clear abstractions and maintainable code • Fluent in English; no French required • Must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain • High potential and curiosity
