📋 Description

• Reporting to the Manager, MS Dynamics Service Owner, as the Senior Platform Services Analyst, you will be responsible for Platform architecture and standards. • You will work with the team to perform upgrades of the Platform, make platform recommendations, recommend reusable, patterns-based solutions/services on the platform, and contribute to the project and enhancement intake and prioritization processes. • You will provide ongoing input and platform leadership in project committee meetings that consider and shape the platform roadmap and advise on solution design to support business use. • Defining the architecture and setting standards for the platform. • Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to perform Dynamics platform upgrades. • Providing informed recommendations based on expertise and the suitability of the platform to address specific business needs. • Leading and mentoring Analysts by sharing technical expertise and promoting agile best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• University graduation in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or a related discipline. • Four (4) years of directly related experience in Information Technology. • Experience supporting application infrastructure and/or software development experience. • MS Dynamics experience. • Knowledge of Alberta Government goals, strategies, priorities and initiatives, particularly as they relate to the mandate of IMT. • Experience supporting a broad range of enterprise technology. • Certification in MS Dynamics Platform is preferred or equivalent certification in other tools will be considered. • ITIL Foundation certification. • Certification in SAFE methodologies or Scrum Methodologies. • Knowledge of ministry mandates, and business and operational plans. • Demonstrated ability in leading large and complex initiatives and projects. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including very good consultation, facilitation and presentation skills. • Knowledge of privacy and security related legislation. • Experience in balancing needs of business areas with T&I policies and objectives. • Ability to convey complex concepts, issues and options for resolution to key decision makers. • Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Experience in facilitating change to business policy and processes to meet future demands. • Experience in leading and empowering diverse teams.
