📋 Description
• Administer and monitor our hybrid database ecosystem: SingleStoreDB, MongoDB, and MySQL (Cloud and On-premise). • Guarantee 99.99% availability and robust security for our on-premise MySQL instances driving the SPEI platform. • Proactively identify bottlenecks, optimize complex queries, refine indexes, and manage partitioning to ensure millisecond-level latencies. • Integrate Generative AI tools into daily workflow to speed up log analysis, automate scripting, and simulate load scenarios. • Collaborate with Backend and Data Engineering teams to design scalable data models prepared for high-volume growth. • Maintain strict backup policies, disaster recovery plans (DRP), and access controls adhering to fintech regulations.
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years as a DBA in high-transaction, production environments. • Strong hands-on experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and distributed databases like SingleStoreDB (or similar). • Deep expertise in execution plans, query optimization, and hardware/resource tuning (CPU, I/O, Memory). • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to increase efficiency, automate tasks, and write robust infrastructure scripts. • Experience handling critical financial systems or payment gateways (knowledge of SPEI regulations is a major plus). • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) is highly valued. • Expertise in advanced database replication strategies and hands-on experience with cross-site replication for Disaster Recovery (DRP).
