• Provide high quality technical support for Alcon customers • Manage a territory from technical, customer satisfaction and service perspective • Carry out new equipment installations in consultation with customers & sales force • Perform Repairs, Planned Maintenance plus submission of documentation • Provide sales and marketing colleagues with support when required • Actively promote and sell Alcon Service Agreements • Understand and adhere to all quality and ISO requirements
• 3 years field experience in a customer facing service engineer role • Minimum of Certificate 3 in an Electronic related field • Ideally hold Biomedical Engineering qualifications • A current New Zealand Electrical Licence • Experience in Ophthalmic equipment highly desired • Advanced PC literacy • Valid driver’s license • Experience with electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) • Ability to travel frequently throughout New Zealand and occasionally internationally • Regular physical activity including lifting, bending, crouching and manual handling
