• Support surgical facilities and oversee the overall IOL portfolio in assigned accounts • Showcase product benefits and differentiate Alcon products from competitive products through high technical consultancy • Work with Account Managers, Tender, and Pricing teams to provide customer solutions • Drive total IOL revenue and market share in the territory • Accelerate PCIOL penetration • Facilitate the Accelerator program in selected accounts • Manage tender requirements with internal teams • Work with Customer Operations on consignment using MyAlcon360 • Develop new business to achieve sales targets • Maintain and optimize existing customer relationships and manage business with key customers • Provide feedback on competitor activities through line management • Maintain and uphold an excellent company image
• Tertiary qualifications in optometry, orthoptics, science, or business • 2–3 years of experience in customer-facing roles within a surgical environment or other industries • Strong understanding of ophthalmic procedures, product technology, and selling to the medical profession • Demonstrable track record developing and executing business plans, goal setting, and team building • Experience with performance management • Strong desire and ability to learn technical knowledge • Deep knowledge of all IOLs and ability to detail the full IOL product portfolio • Ability to competitively position Clareon versus modified/advanced monofocals • Excellent technical and interpersonal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills • Customer-oriented mindset and strong customer relationship management • Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and proactively • Strong business decision-making based on data, fairness, and consistency • Experience with CRM applications such as Salesforce is desired
