📋 Description

• Serve as primary clinical resource on a team of claim examiners managing medical disability and accommodation cases • Provide consultation, feedback, and charting for claim examiners • Assist claim examiners in understanding functional impairment related to employees’ jobs • Consult on medical claims within scope of licensure and clinical expertise • Facilitate medically sound decisions and case navigation strategies • Ensure disability claims are adjudicated appropriately and with reasonable time frames for returning employees to work

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or comparable license with experience • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience, preferably in occupational health field • Preferred experience in disability claims management or Workers Compensation claim management • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate claim decisions and contract language clearly • Dedicated to providing high quality customer service • Must show evidence of appropriate degree • Work Experience of 4 years + • Ability to work evening/night shifts • Regulatory and Compliance experience a plus
