📋 Description

• Lead the design, architecture, and integration of new features and applications for the Electric Utility Outage Management System (OMS). • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements. • Oversee end-to-end system improvements, performance optimization, and stability enhancements. • Develop, document, and maintain system architecture, workflows, technical designs, and integration specifications. • Provide expertise in database design, optimization, backup strategies, performance tuning, and troubleshooting using Oracle DBA skills. • Work closely with development teams using various software frameworks to ensure high-quality design and implementation. • Ensure system compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity guidelines, and best practices. • Participate in critical meetings, reviews, and workshops at client locations as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in application design, systems integration, or software architecture. • Strong background in database administration with hands-on Oracle experience (backup, recovery, performance tuning, SQL queries, triggers, stored procedures). • Demonstrated experience in OMS platforms used in electric utilities (e.g., Oracle Utilities, GE PowerOn, Milsoft, or similar). • Solid programming and scripting background in languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or similar frameworks. • Experience designing scalable, high-availability systems. • Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and SOA. • Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD, version control (Git), and automation tools is a plus.
