• Supports clinicians behind the scenes and helps members navigate their appointments with confidence. • Greets patients virtually in a friendly, service-oriented manner in compliance with Alignment policies and workflows. • Calls members to schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments. • Rooms and interviews patients, collects intake information, measures vital signs (as applicable), and documents reason for visit. • Supports telehealth visits using platforms such as AVA, Doximity, and Zoom.
• Minimum (2) years' medical assistant experience • Minimum (1) year customer service experience • Required: High School Diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited medical assistant program • Ability to communicate positively, professionally and effectively with others; provide leadership, teach and collaborate with others. • Comfortable with local travel during HEDIS season • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation • Preferred: Bilingual English and Spanish • Preferred: Experience working with Medicare population
