📋 Description

• Design, build, and ship features across the OpenHands stack • Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions • Own projects end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to testing and deployment • Debug complex issues across systems and deliver sustainable fixes • Help define technical direction, standards, and best practices as we scale • Mentor and support other engineers to foster a collaborative, learning-oriented culture

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience • Deep backend experience with Python, PostgreSQL, and distributed systems • Proficiency in React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and modern frontend development • Experience with containerization and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, GCP or AWS) • Track record of shipping production-grade systems for SaaS products • Ability to operate independently, make sound architectural decisions, and deliver in fast-moving environments • Product-first mindset with a focus on delivering business and user value • Interest in AI/LLM-powered developer tools and open-source software (bonus if you’ve contributed to OSS) • Experience mentoring teammates or leading technical projects
