📋 Description

• Lead engineering at Allocatr, a UK-based SaaS platform transforming how MSPs manage Microsoft 365 billing, licensing, and cost optimisation. • Shape the product, set the engineering vision, and lay the technical foundation for growth. • Lead a small team of full stack developers, setting direction on everything from software architecture and coding standards to sprint planning and DevOps maturity. • Act as the internal voice of technical excellence, mentoring engineers, ensuring high-quality releases, and making smart trade-offs between speed and scalability. • Collaborate closely with the founding team to influence product development.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in full stack development with strong exposure to Microsoft-based stacks (.NET, Azure, Microsoft Graph, etc.). • 2+ years in a leadership or management role, with responsibility for mentoring engineers, running agile sprints, and owning delivery timelines. • Proficient in front-end frameworks (React/TypeScript) and modern UI component libraries. • Strong understanding of Microsoft Graph API , Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and Azure cloud architecture (App Services, Functions, B2B auth, etc.) • Experience with secure data modelling and integrations across M365 environments. • DevOps knowledge – CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform), and release automation. • Ability to write scalable, maintainable, and secure code across the full stack. • Comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, fully remote team. • Strong architectural decision-making skills, balancing speed with technical debt awareness. • Prior experience working in or with a startup, SaaS business , or MSP-aligned software is a big plus.
