📋 Description

• Play a critical role in helping customers recover from property losses by delivering exceptional claim service from first notice of loss through resolution. • Travel throughout Burlington, Middlesex, Mercer, and Monmouth Counties to inspect property damages. • Investigate coverage, prepare estimates, negotiate settlements, and guide customers through the claims process. • Use tools such as Xactimate to evaluate damages related to weather, water, wind, and other property losses while providing a seamless customer experience. • Work independently while collaborating closely with your leadership team, peers, contractors, vendors, and customers. • Manage your own schedule and daily routing while maintaining customer commitments and business expectations.

🎯 Requirements

• Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company • Possesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st party homeowners' losses with complexity • Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines • Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on best option • Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines
