📋 Description

• Design, develop and automate security controls for cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP • Maintain, integrate and scale cloud security tooling, including cloud security posture management and vulnerability platforms • Investigate and remediate cloud infrastructure security vulnerabilities through closure • Design and build zero-trust access controls across cloud and Kubernetes environments • Partner with incident response teams to build cloud infrastructure detections and analyze and mitigate security incidents affecting products • Develop security standards and guardrails for engineering teams and embed them into CI/CD and GitOps workflows • Work with compliance teams on ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR requirements, translating them into technical controls • Conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, and code reviews with engineering and product teams • Lead security projects independently from scoping and planning through completion

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security or security-focused infrastructure/DevOps engineering • Hands-on experience securing containerized environments and Kubernetes • Strong understanding of AWS; GCP ideally as well • Experience with infrastructure-as-code solutions • Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Python, for automation • Experience with cloud security posture management or similar security tooling • Ability to own problems end to end and drive projects with minimal direction • Clear communication across teams • Nice to have: experience across multiple clouds, CI/CD and DevOps/GitOps security integration, threat modeling, security architecture reviews, compliance requirements, security communities/open source/security research, and relevant certifications such as CKS
