📋 Description

• Perform component- and system-level design, development, validation, timing, and production release for cockpit interiors • Own early validation and component function • Follow up design to ensure system- and vehicle-level functional objectives are met • Perform component- and system-level validation testing • Manage overall component release, including Bills of Material, CAD drawings, validation testing, engineering change management, Design Verification Plans, and testing • Issue engineering change notices • Review and approve FMEAs and DVP&Rs • Support prototype builds • Resolve issues • Support PPAP and launch production

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent • Experience from 1 to 3 years or general knowledge on Instrumental Panel, Doors and Consoles • Knowledge on hard plastic process: extrusion, injection, thermoforming, compression • Experience or general knowledge on ABS, PP, electronic components, fabrics (leather, cloth, vinyl) • Experience with suppliers management and launching processes • Experience in automotive industry • Experience with CAD (NX, Catia V5 or similars) • Experience with PLM (Teamcenter, Enovia, or others) • Experience on GD&T, DFMEA, DM/DFA, PPAP, APQP • Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point • Creation, management and edition of BoM's/EBoM's • English advanced • Ability to manage projects and suppliers • Ability for problem resolutions • Effective communication skills and cross-functional teamwork • Preferred: Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and/or Reactive Shaining Problem Solving • Preferred: In plant launch experience • Preferred: Experience or general knowledge on commodities like hard trim or seats
