📋 Description

• Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including borrowers, selling agents, lenders, and attorneys • Handle inbound and outbound calls and objections • Schedule closings with buyers and lenders and arrange notaries • Prepare and balance HUD and CD documents with lenders • Track closing deadlines and ensure timely completion • Review title commitments and prepare closing packages • Review tax statements and prorate taxes • Review HOA and lien payoffs • Manage disbursements and funding • Contribute to a positive customer experience throughout the closing process

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the REO settlement or Originations process • Detailed knowledge of REO and the settlement function • Up-to-date information on state-level requirements for closing transactions in the REO space • Ability to work on multiple files simultaneously and closely to achieve SLA • Ability to work with cross-functional, multicultural teams • Call and objection handling skills for inbound and outbound calls • Knowledge of HUD and CD preparation and balancing with lenders • Knowledge of title commitments, closing packages, tax statement review and tax proration • Knowledge of HOA and lien payoffs • Disbursements and funding knowledge
