📋 Description

• Verify and update all patient demographic and insurance information to ensure timely reimbursement. • Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed. • Bills the appropriate payor. • Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables. • Supports process improvements to assure quality and timely documentation. • Works closely with all billing and support service groups to assure maximum reimbursement. • Adhere to all practice policies related to OSHA, HIPAA, and CMS Compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • 1+ year healthcare experience in healthcare billing, revenue services, or coding- medical certification or degree preferred. • 1+ year of ICD-10 coding language experience preferred • Medicaid Experience • Medicare Billing Experience • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions • Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information. • Proficiency with Microsoft, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications • Experience navigating third party websites • Ability to work in a fast-paced (remote) work environment; required to meet daily goal volumes.
