• Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience in patient advocacy, consumer marketing, communications, government affairs or public health • Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience in patient advocacy, consumer marketing, communications, government affairs or public health • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience in patient advocacy, consumer marketing, communications, government affairs or public health • Associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience in patient advocacy, consumer marketing, communications, government affairs or public health • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of relevant experience in patient advocacy, consumer marketing, communications, government affairs or public health • Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of experience working in rheumatology and/or nephrology, ideally in relation to chronic or inflammatory diseases • Preferred: Experience developing and leading patient advocacy programs in patient communities with high unmet need and a complex diagnostic journey • Preferred: Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or research sectors • Preferred: Track record of scaling strategic advocacy engagement for a late-stage commercial product • Preferred: Experience working in a disease state with evolving therapeutic options • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate across internal and external partners • Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills • A strategic, solutions-focused mindset with a collaborative and inclusive work style • Willingness/ability to travel up to 40% as needed
