📋 Description

• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of EVD preparedness and response activities in the assigned county • Support county and sub-county health teams in planning and executing project interventions • Facilitate surveillance, infection prevention and control, risk communication and community engagement, and emergency preparedness activities • Ensure timely implementation of project work plans and adherence to approved timelines • Organize and coordinate meetings, trainings, simulations, and supportive supervision activities • Provide technical assistance on EVD preparedness and response interventions • Support dissemination and implementation of national EVD guidelines, protocols, and standard operating procedures • Strengthen county rapid response mechanisms and preparedness capacities • Monitor county and health facility preparedness and implementation of IPC standards • Collect, verify, compile, and quality-assure project data and reports • Monitor progress against targets and identify implementation gaps • Prepare weekly, monthly, and activity reports for the EVD Response & Surge Coordinator • Document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories • Collaborate with State and County Health Departments, implementing partners, community organizations, and other stakeholders • Participate in task force coordination meetings and technical working groups • Foster relationships with community leaders and undertake other duties assigned by the Project Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public health, Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Epidemiology, Community Health, Health Systems Management, or a related field • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in public health programs, emergency preparedness, disease outbreak response, or humanitarian programming • Experience supporting infectious disease preparedness and response activities is an added advantage • Experience working with government structures and health systems in South Sudan is desirable • Demonstrated experience in project coordination, monitoring, and reporting • Good understanding of public health emergency preparedness and response systems • Knowledge of Haemorrhagic Virus Diseases e.g. EVD preparedness and response interventions • Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills • Excellent report writing and communication skills • Strong planning and organizational skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management tools • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills • Cover letter and CV with relevant skills and experience required
