📋 Description

• Operate heavy equipment by activating mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic controls in accordance with operating procedure manuals and practical knowledge • Load and transport ore, slag, coal, ferronickel, and various materials • Operate wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, motor graders, crawler tractors, and dump trucks • Perform maintenance and improvements on access roads using a motor grader • Stack ore, slag, and coal • Remove containers using a hook-lift truck • Wet roads using a water truck • Transport supplies and materials to areas throughout the industrial plant • Record daily machine hours worked in spreadsheets • Inspect and clean equipment at the beginning and end of each shift • Assist heavy equipment mechanics and lubricators in identifying and diagnosing faults • Comply with Operational Safety and Health, Environmental, Social Responsibility, and Business Integrity policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma • Experience operating heavy equipment, including motor graders, crawler tractors, wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, water trucks, dump trucks, and hook-lift trucks • Class D driver's license • Availability to work shifts and administrative hours • Technical training in Mining or Metallurgy is a plus
