• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for various agricultural applications (e.g., crop classification, yield prediction, disease detection, advisory generation). • Work with large datasets from diverse sources such as satellite imagery, drone footage, and sensor data. • Build and maintain robust data pipelines for model training and inference. • Collaborate closely with agronomists, software engineers, and researchers to address field-level challenges using ML solutions. • Optimize model performance and ensure scalability for real-world deployment. • Develop robust pipelines to pre-train, fine-tune and align, and evaluate LLMs and other Foundation models. • Document findings, prepare reports, and present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• B.Tech/M.Tech/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field. • Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling. • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn. • Good understanding of data preprocessing, model evaluation, and validation techniques. • Experience with tools such as Jupyter, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for applying AI for social good. • Exposure to LLMs, NLP, computer vision, remote sensing, or geospatial data (preferred). • Prior experience in building or adapting Foundation Models in text, speech or Geo AI or multi-modal/multi-lingual models (preferred). • Experience working with agricultural or environmental datasets (preferred). • Familiarity with model deployment tools and frameworks such as Docker, Flask, or FastAPI (preferred).
