📋 Description

• Deliver Microsoft 365, identity, and migration projects for clients • Execute projects across discovery, build, pilot, cutover, and handover stages • Run mailbox, tenant, file, and domain migrations end to end using migration tools • Agree rollback criteria and downtime windows with clients and manage cutovers • Reconcile migrated data against expected results and resolve discrepancies • Deploy and maintain Azure infrastructure, including VMs, virtual networks, NSGs, VPNs, Azure Files, Azure Backup, and Azure Virtual Desktop • Manage client devices through Intune, including Autopilot enrollment, compliance and configuration profiles, application packaging and deployment, BitLocker and Defender policies, and update rings • Write as-built documentation in IT Glue and brief the service desk • Keep project time and status current in the PSA • Join client calls to explain changes, temporary service disruptions, and timelines • Manage multiple client tenants, typically with two to five projects running in parallel

🎯 Requirements

• 5-10 years in IT overall • At least 2 years administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID across more than one organization or tenant • At least five personally executed migrations, including mailbox, tenant-to-tenant, file, or Active Directory domain migrations, with tooling named • Ability to own technical execution and escalate architecture decisions • Demonstrable migration delivery experience in at least two specified migration types • Proficiency administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, mail DNS, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 admin center, license assignment, and group-based licensing • Proficiency with Entra ID, Entra Connect Sync or Cloud Sync, hybrid/Entra join, Conditional Access, MFA, SSPR, enterprise applications, and SAML or OIDC single sign-on • Proficiency with Azure infrastructure, including VMs, virtual networks, NSGs, public IPs, site-to-site VPN, Azure Files, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Backup, subscriptions, resource groups, RBAC, and cost management • Proficiency with Intune, including Windows Autopilot, co-management, BYOD, Apple and Android enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, app deployment, BitLocker, Defender for Endpoint, and update rings • Knowledge of Windows Server and AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file and print services, and Hyper-V • PowerShell skills for Exchange Online, Microsoft Graph, and Entra bulk operations; ability to read and modify scripts • Experience working on a fully remote team • Client-facing ability to explain downtime windows to non-technical stakeholders • Documentation discipline across many tenants • Availability for scheduled after-hours and weekend cutover windows • Prior MSP or multi-client experience • Experience with Microsoft Purview, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Cloud Apps, Secure Score remediation, CIS benchmarks, and HIPAA or CMMC-adjacent client work • Experience with Privileged Identity Management, access reviews, and entitlement management • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and Graph API scripting beyond cmdlets • At least one current Microsoft role-based certification or demonstrable equivalent experience
