📋 Description

• Create clearly written technical specifications and documentation based on business requirements in an AI-assisted environment • Deliver testable, secure, and performant PHP code • Work with and coach other engineers through code reviews, quality reviews, architecture discussions, and technical outlines • Build software that is easy to maintain and update • Debug code and production issues to improve system stability and uptime • Transform legacy systems into enterprise software by applying standards and best practices • Continuously improve the AI-assisted environment to increase productivity • Join an agile team and learn the company’s engineering manifesto, coding conventions, and code style guides • Participate in the software development lifecycle, user-story spikes, and code reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge about professional software engineering, and writing code under SOLID principles and implementing Clean Code • Hands-on experience with NoSQL technologies (Redis, MongoDB or similar) • Experience leveraging and establishing guardrails for AI-assisted engineering tools to improve team velocity safely • Grasp of cloud-native infrastructure and telemetry/observability practices to drive system reliability and incident prevention • Experience in development of complex systems and high-volume transaction applications • Ability to clearly document requirements and specifications • Ability to work on projects as part of a team in a fully remote environment and manage your own workload in a high-paced agile environment • Bias to action, desire for ownership, and love for problem-solving • Kindness and empathy, relying on and supporting the team for discussions and code or design reviews • Ability to craft a vision and clarify ambiguous problem spaces into clear, tangible roadmap building blocks
