📋 Description

• Process and record incoming invoices with precision and proper documentation • Manage payment cycles, monitor due dates, and follow up on outstanding invoices • Reconcile accounts payable to ensure up-to-date financial records • Review and process employee expense reports • Support the monthly payroll cycle across entities and EOR countries with the Finance Manager • Check trial payslips against records and flag discrepancies • Maintain payroll documentation and personnel files in an audit-ready and data-protection-compliant manner • Assist in audit preparation by compiling documentation for auditor inquiries • Maintain the audit request list, track open items, and follow up internally • Support preparation of files and documentation for the audit data room • Monitor the shared finance inbox and route requests and invoices appropriately • Assist with day-to-day finance operations and ad hoc requests • Support documentation of finance processes in the internal wiki • Identify opportunities for AI to make finance processes faster, more accurate, or more transparent

🎯 Requirements

• Enrolled in a master's university program in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, ideally focusing on Controlling, Accounting, or Treasury • First practical experience in Finance, such as internships or vocational training, is highly appreciated • Strong analytical mindset and structured, solution-oriented approach • Comfortable taking initiative and working independently in a fast-paced, international environment • Solid Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel • Curiosity and enthusiasm for working with AI tools; prior experience is a plus, but willingness to experiment matters more • Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities • Clear communication style • Fluent in English and German
