📋 Description

• Own the Insight & Data area and measurement layer of the Aphex platform • Report directly to the Head of Product • Lead a squad of approximately six engineers, flexing with scope • Define, defend, and version canonical measures of project behaviour and performance • Connect behavioural routines to outcomes and build evidence of what predicts delivery • Make measures self-serve for users, customer teams, and internal product/GTM teams • Run discovery through QA to launch with the engineering team • Write executable specs and briefs and hold the team accountable to them • Sanity-check sequencing and estimates • Make daily trade-off decisions on scope, timeline, and quality • Own data pipelines, aggregated models, API/MCP access, and platform reliability • Publish signal contracts for Planner and Diary teams • Partner with Customer Success and Solution Engineers on customer data use cases • Feed evidence-based product decision-making across the organization • Own org/admin surfaces including admin console, org-level insights, report sharing, and request-access • Instrument and drive activation behaviours that make projects stick

🎯 Requirements

• Measurement background: defined metrics systems, built or evaluated data pipelines, or worked closely with data scientists • Standalone product or platform ownership experience • Technical depth to pressure-test engineering estimates and identify sequencing errors • Track record shipping data products, analytics, or platform work with quality • Remote-first operating style: clear writing, decision documentation, and proactive communication • Behavioural analytics, activation/retention instrumentation, or product-led growth measurement (highly valued) • Experience with AI/agent products and evaluation frameworks (highly valued) • Vertical SaaS or construction/industrial experience (highly valued) • Experience making internal teams evidence-driven (highly valued)
