📋 Description

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for new and existing clients. • Prepare, submit, and monitor insurance authorizations and treatment plans. • Maintain accurate insurance and authorization information within our electronic health record (EHR). • Support billing by ensuring authorizations align with scheduled services. • Communicate with insurance carriers regarding authorizations, benefits, and payer requirements. • Research claim issues and assist with billing documentation and follow-up. • Maintain accurate records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. • Partner with the Insurance & Billing Manager and clinical teams to support timely services for our clients.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. • One or more years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, revenue cycle, or healthcare administration. • Experience working with commercial insurance and/or Medicaid preferred. • Experience in ABA, behavioral health, or pediatric healthcare is a plus but not required. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with EHR systems, preferably RethinkBH, is a plus.
