📋 Description
• Configure and support financial applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) software • Serve as a liaison between system end-users, operational leaders, additional support resources and vendors • Design, build and optimize their assigned applications in a timely and high-quality manner • Provide application support and optimization • Analyze business issues/requirements and workflows • Collaborate with customers contributing to the analysis, testing, and documentation • Participate in planning, implementation and go-live activities • Gather specifications, discovery questions, capturing process gaps • Demonstrate Epic foundation build and workflow design, and tracking risk/issues and requests • Actively monitor assigned support tickets, document activities thoroughly
🎯 Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred with a focus in healthcare, business, or information systems • Prior analyst experience working with inpatient hospital billing systems • Work history/knowledge of hospital inpatient billing operations • Prior experience with Epic’s Resolute HB system a plus • Strong understanding of the core functions and processes of the billing office • Understanding of the billing office’s integration with other departments in the organization • Solid comprehension of revenue cycle management
