📋 Description

• Design and oversee data architecture for enterprise applications, ensuring efficient data flow within applications and across integrated systems. • Collaborate with system architects and software engineering teams to define data models, interfaces, and integration strategies that support evolving mission requirements. • Review proposed architectural changes to identify opportunities for improved data sharing, reuse, and interoperability across the enterprise. • Develop logical and physical data architectures that support scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions. • Evaluate how data is collected, processed, stored, and exchanged to ensure optimal performance and long-term sustainability. • Define best practices for application-to-application communication, including REST-based APIs and other integration mechanisms. • Provide technical guidance on structured and unstructured data management, including relational and NoSQL data stores. • Develop prototypes or proof-of-concept solutions when necessary to validate architectural approaches. • Participate in technical design reviews and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architectural decisions align with program objectives. • Support enterprise modernization efforts by identifying opportunities to improve data accessibility, consistency, and governance.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline. • 4–6 years of experience designing or implementing data architectures, enterprise integrations, or distributed software systems. • Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL database technologies. • Understanding of structured and unstructured data storage solutions. • Experience designing or working with RESTful APIs and application integration patterns. • Ability to develop prototype applications or proof-of-concept solutions using one or more modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or Go. • Experience collaborating with software developers, architects, and technical stakeholders throughout the system development lifecycle. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex data flow scenarios. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
