📋 Description

• Have you ever wondered how insurance companies calculate the price of insurance policies? • The Implementation Engineer will implement the platform supporting real-time rating engines that calculate insurance premiums. • They will be responsible for the creation, design, development, and continuous improvement of implementation services in accordance with established organizational goals and deliverables. • Create and support best-in-class real time rating implementations leveraging a diverse set of tools • Work with strategic partners to solve business problems by developing implementation solutions • Configure and maintain optimal cloud infrastructure • Create and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for rating engine and API deployment • Implement a thorough and reusable logging framework across all rating implementations • Provide the appropriate level of documentation of sources and technical solutions • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements • Build strong partnerships with peers across the organization to support implementation related goals • Explore new technologies with curiosity and creativity

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience working with Python, SQL, and web application frameworks such as Django • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production REST APIs • Knowledge of HTTP/S protocol, including requests, responses, and status codes • Ability to apply common data structures and algorithms • Excellent critical thinking skills to tackle complex engineering challenges • Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented • Exceptional collaboration and relationship building skills • Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment • Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and refining ambiguous requirements • Ability to effectively communicate to different target audiences
