📋 Description

• Collect, organize, interpret, analyze, scrub, document, and disseminate/present data • Process and normalize data to ensure data integrity • Create queries, views, and reports • Produce analysis supporting business unit reporting and planning • Support senior management and business stakeholders with analysis and reporting • Drive business accountability and measure decisions against commitments and prior results • Participate in the strategic planning cycle • Review and scrub data, interpret data, analyze results and trends, provide ongoing reports, and build/update/enhance dashboards • Send communications to internal and external parties • Develop and implement report/dashboard improvements to optimize efficiency and data quality • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases • Reconcile data with stakeholders and teams, including premiums and claims, and investigate inconsistencies • Filter and scrub data and review reports and performance indicators to identify and correct data issues • Support onboarding for new businesses/programs • Identify and execute process improvement opportunities • Provide assistance, reconciliations, and other support to internal and external partners • Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting for the department or other business units

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical skills, including collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information • Experience with queries, variance analysis, report writing, and presenting findings • Attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to learn new tasks quickly • Strong numerical skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good problem-solving skills • Strong time management and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Insurance knowledge/background is nice to have • Intermediate/advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables • Intermediate/advanced Power BI skills, including dashboards • Intermediate/advanced data transformation skills, such as Alteryx • Intermediate/advanced data querying skills, such as SQL and Snowflake • Accounting, Finance, or a relevant designation is an asset or may be in progress • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
