📋 Description

• Make Arena's app and API service faster, more scalable, and more flexible • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship AI-powered features • Improve the performance of existing features by orders of magnitude • Build real-time messaging supporting 500,000 concurrent users per customer application • Design and build AI Agents, RAG pipelines, model fine-tuning, and crawling • Work with sharding, master-master, and master-slave architectures • Build and maintain highly available code for heavily visited websites and apps • Work with distributed databases storing user engagement data • Build real-time chat scaling to 1M simultaneous users • Design, optimize, and scale AI agent-based architectures, RAG pipelines, and LLM-driven systems • Integrate systems with data sources and handle millions of first-party data • Build complex business rules orchestrations similar to Reddit, Discord, and WhatsApp

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as a backend developer • Experience with high-traffic and high-performance applications • Curious developer who experiments with AI and AI agents everyday • TypeScript • Node.js • TDD, BDD, or ATDD • REST APIs • MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB, or other document database • Role based in Brazil
