📋 Description

• Technical and disciplinary responsibility for an experienced team of Cloud & DevOps Engineers, including project coordination and resource planning • You will spend at least 60% of your time directly on client projects — through architecture, technical design, or implementation for public-sector clients • Support with tenders and proposals as well as technical support in presales discussions • Active development of your team members — both professionally and personally • Strategic involvement in shaping ARES's growth

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or vocational training in an IT-related field • Initial experience in presales or technical customer consulting • Experience with cloud-native technologies, particularly in private cloud or hybrid environments • Solid knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem and public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT) • Experience in architecture — you can design complex environments and confidently justify technical decisions • Industry experience in the public sector or KRITIS (critical infrastructure) environment • Interest in recruiting and leading personnel, ideally with some prior experience • Independent, communicative working style with strong customer orientation • Very good German and English language skills • Willingness to travel within Germany (on average max. 3 days/month) • Willingness to undergo a security check (SÜ1 or SÜ2) under the Security Clearance Act (SÜG)
