📋 Description

• Advise business functions on compliance and evolve the Global Ethics & Compliance program in the region • Serve as advisor to regional and local commercial and medical teams across the product portfolio • Review and advise on interactions with patients, patient organisations, healthcare professionals, institutions, payors, regulatory agencies and other external stakeholders • Draft and implement policies, procedures and guidance with Legal and Ethics & Compliance colleagues • Support adherence to transparency reporting requirements and reporting obligations • Conduct or assist with compliance-related investigations and allegations of misconduct • Prepare and deliver Ethics & Compliance training and education, including to field-based employees • Lead and contribute to compliance projects, issues and priorities across the Global Legal and Compliance function • Foster the strong ethical culture of argenx • Perform auditing, monitoring and other general compliance activities • Support product launches and commercialisation at regional and country level

🎯 Requirements

• 4-7 years of regional biopharmaceutical industry experience in a relevant compliance function • Extensive experience within a commercial stage pharmaceutical or biotech company • Regional experience with launching new products and/or new indications • Experience with healthcare compliance systems, training employees, engagement of healthcare professionals and transparency • Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual global environment • Ability to innovate, analyse and solve problems with minimal supervisory input • Strategic thinking and ability to propose innovative compliance solutions • Solid understanding of business goals and legal, compliance and regulatory landscape in Europe • High degree of personal, professional and corporate ethics, integrity and responsibility • Expertise in European corporate commercial healthcare law and regulation related to pharmaceutical product development and commercialisation • Expertise in relevant industry codes and guidelines • Fluent in English • Travel 25-30% • Legal degree preferred; other relevant accreditations or degrees considered • Regional experience in specialty markets, particularly rare diseases, preferred • Other language skills (Italian, Spanish, French or German) preferred
