📋 Description

• Serve at Director level as part of the global Legal Compliance and IP team • Support Developed Markets communities and global commercialization teams as a key member of the commercial law group • Act as a legal business partner and facilitator for business activities across the region • Advise and enable product launches and commercialization at global, regional, and country levels • Provide timely legal and business guidance across medical, commercial, market access, regulatory, and distribution areas • Advise on promotion, market access, commercial contracting, competition law, and other drug commercialization matters • Advise on sales, marketing, market access, medical education, patient engagement, and scientific exchange programs and materials • Identify training needs and develop and present training sessions on relevant laws and legal/business issues • Monitor and communicate significant legal and regulatory developments affecting the company • Provide legal support for local authorizations, permits, licenses, communications, distribution, and product marketing • Assess, supervise, and manage external legal counsel within available budgets • Coordinate closely with argenx LCIP colleagues • Lead and contribute to legal projects, issues, and priorities across the global Legal and Compliance function

🎯 Requirements

• Broad-based knowledge of general commercial law and regulatory law impacting the biotech/pharmaceutical industry • First-rate judgment and business acumen, including understanding of business strategy and operations • Fluent in English and in Italian, Spanish, or French • Experience in specialty markets, particularly rare diseases, preferred • Highly analytical; uses data to support decisions and clearly communicates complex ideas simply to diverse audiences • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within cross-functional teams and networks • Demonstrated communication skills within a multicultural and multilingual global environment • Adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, trust-building, and resilience • Demonstrable experience with project management, proactive planning, priority setting, and securing alignment • Law Degree and license to practice law • Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience, ideally in a law firm and in biotech/pharma • At least 3 years of experience serving as the legal business partner at an international level
