📋 Description

• Serve as the enterprise-level point of contact for the global Thermo Fisher Scientific partnership • Represent argenx as an outcome-oriented partner and protect enterprise value by reducing fragmentation and reinforcing partnering behaviors • Partner with the Breakthrough Partner Lead to align alliance strategy, governance, priorities, and partner engagement • Connect argenx teams and leaders with Thermo Fisher capabilities across the partnership portfolio • Clarify enterprise intent and priorities and resolve duplication, conflicting priorities, and misalignment • Establish decision rights, escalation routes, leadership cadence, and shared role clarity • Maintain working rhythms with the Breakthrough Partner Lead and escalate cross-functional issues • Co-create and evolve a multi-year alliance strategy and enterprise value narrative • Translate Thermo Fisher capabilities into practical operating models • Support teams in moving from transactional engagement toward co-creation, repeatable innovation, and enterprise value • Develop an end-to-end partnership model connecting capabilities, governance, decision-making, and innovation pathways • Identify and prioritize future-facing innovation opportunities and new partnership approaches • Act as a trusted enterprise thought partner to argenx leadership and senior partner counterparts • Connect initiatives, conversations, and insights across teams • Navigate trade-offs with clarity, humility, and enterprise perspective

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience leading and evolving complex, enterprise-critical partnerships spanning multiple functions in a global, highly regulated environment • Strong enterprise mindset and ability to shape long-term organizational impact through strategic partnerships • Ability to anticipate future partnership needs, emerging operating models, and sustained value creation opportunities • Proven ability to integrate diverse stakeholders and partner capabilities around shared intent, clear decision rights, and decision-enabling governance • Track record of identifying innovation, simplification, and growth opportunities through collaboration and co-creation • Ability to translate partnership insights into scalable enterprise improvements • Demonstrated cultural leadership consistent with the argenx Way of Partnering • Background in biopharma, life sciences, healthcare, or an adjacent highly regulated and innovation-driven industry • Experience in complex, matrixed, and global organizational environments • Demonstrated experience operating at a senior leadership interface across multiple functions and external partner organizations • Proven leadership of complex, enterprise-critical partnerships spanning multiple capabilities, business areas, and global geographies • Experience shaping partnerships toward value creation, co-innovation, decision clarity, and scalable enterprise impact, including governance, operating models, and performance management • Track record of influencing decisions and outcomes without formal authority • Ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed and ambiguous environments • Typically 10 or more years of progressively responsible experience in strategic partnerships, alliance management, business development, enterprise strategy, or comparable enterprise-level roles • Advanced degree preferred in life sciences, medicine, engineering, business, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
