• Respond to customer product inquiries by telephone and written, internet-based email • Resolve customer concerns related to installation, operation, maintenance, product application, and compatibility • Troubleshoot hardware equipment and software applications and recommend corrective action • Document customer communication and recurring technical issues • Support product quality programs and product development • Work directly with customers and software and hardware development teams • Recreate customer issues in a dedicated lab environment • Support Arista products, network protocols, and EOS features in a non-silo environment
• Minimum 1–5 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and administering network protocols and technologies • Working knowledge of the networking industry, products, and protocols • Experience with AAA/TACACS, ACL, ARP, BGP, DHCP, Ethernet, Flow Control, ICMP, IGMP, IPv4/IPv6, LACP, LLDP, MPLS, NAT, OpenFlow, OSPF, PIM, QoS, RIP, sFlow, SNMP, STP/RSTP/MST, VARP/VRRP, VLAN, and VRF • Experience with troubleshooting tools such as IXIA, tcpdump, and Wireshark or similar packet generation and analysis tools highly desired • Strong comfort level with Linux highly desired • Familiarity with C++, Java, Python, Perl, JavaScript, or shell scripting is a plus • Ability to troubleshoot complex and dynamic customer environments • Strong analytical and triage skills • High aptitude for learning and teaching • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Collaborative approach • Minimum education is a MS in a technical field; CS/EE/ITP preferred • Industry certifications preferred • Prior TAC experience preferred
