They operate a portfolio of apps (including Relive, JOIN, and Runwithren) serving about 25 million users, and emphasize shared infrastructure, central teams, coaching models, retention loops, and growth experiments. They also produce podcasts, content, and communities to reach athletes and partner with trusted voices. They plan to launch a golf app in Q2 2026.

• Designing, building and shipping systems that power JOIN. • Working with our databases and infrastructure to keep things reliable as we scale. • Jumping into mobile or web frontend work when the team needs it. • Owning your work end to end from prototyping to production release. • Using AI tools (including coding agents) to work faster and better: we give you the freedom to use them how you see fit

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced engineer: you're not defined by one language or framework, you figure out what's needed and get on with it. • Full stack with a bias toward backend: You are comfortable across backend and databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), not afraid of infrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean, Docker, Terraform); You have some exposure to TypeScript/Node.js, Java or Kotlin, and React/React Native, or native iOS/Android. • You regularly release to production and know what that responsibility looks like. • You work independently, without needing hand-holding • Uses AI to complement their skills and go further, not to skip understanding of what's being built.
